On the other hand, if a lesser known band offered a good deal I think that I would spend a little to get to know them better. </p>Amy MunozSat, 07 Nov 2009 11:04:46 -0000http://blog.artistshousemusic.org/post/234181530#comment-21979445<p>I skimmed this earlier and thought it was good - on a second, more thorough read, I think it's excellent.</p><p>With bands that I'm already a fan of, I will rarely buy the cheapest package offered - with bands I'm not 100% sure of (maybe I've only heard a few songs), seeing the other packages not only makes it seem like a great deal, but also:<br>- offers greater insight into the band's personality / humanizes them for me<br>- makes them appear more professional / successful ("if they already have fans who want to purchase these larger ticket items, they must be pretty good")<br>- and, in the case of Mr Freese, the higher end packages are just entertaining / fun to read - and making me laugh / smile automatically makes me more open to giving up some cash.</p><p>Great advice - Thanks.<br></p>kim leopoldThu, 05 Nov 2009 18:49:08 -0000
