On the other hand, if a lesser known band offered a good deal I think that I would spend a little to get to know them better. &lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Amy Munoz</dc:creator><pubDate>Sat, 07 Nov 2009 11:04:46 -0000</pubDate></item><item><title>Re: Coin a Phrase: The &amp;quot;Downsell&amp;quot;</title><link>http://blog.artistshousemusic.org/post/234181530#comment-21979445</link><description>&lt;p&gt;I skimmed this earlier and thought it was good - on a second, more thorough read, I think it's excellent.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With bands that I'm already a fan of, I will rarely buy the cheapest package offered - with bands I'm not 100% sure of (maybe I've only heard a few songs), seeing the other packages not only makes it seem like a great deal, but also:&lt;br&gt;- offers greater insight into the band's personality / humanizes them for me&lt;br&gt;- makes them appear more professional / successful ("if they already have fans who want to purchase these larger ticket items, they must be pretty good")&lt;br&gt;- and, in the case of Mr Freese, the higher end packages are just entertaining / fun to read - and making me laugh / smile automatically makes me more open to giving up some cash.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Great advice - Thanks.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">kim leopold</dc:creator><pubDate>Thu, 05 Nov 2009 18:49:08 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
